ACIC is the largest, oldest and most diverse state property/casualty trade association representing insurers before legislators and regulators in California.
ACIC represents more than 300 property/casualty insurance companies doing business in California. Sixty nine ACIC members are domiciled in California, more than any other insurance association. And, many of ACIC's members have regional offices established in communities throughout the state. ACIC member companies write 40.9 percent of the property/casualty insurance in California, including 56.1 percent of personal automobile insurance, 42.8 percent of commercial automobile insurance, 39 percent of homeowners insurance, 32.5 percent of business insurance and 46 percent of private workerscompensation insurance.
ACIC is an affiliate of the Property Casualty Insurers Association Of America (PCI). PCI is composed of more than 1,000 member companies, representing the broadest crosssection of insurers of any national trade association.
